I lived very near Arsenal stadium from 1937 until 1956.
First saw Arsenal play when I was 7 in 1939, then after returning home after the war, I watched every week from 1945 until 1948.
We always stood at the same bar at the North End.
I went to a boy's club, Crown and Manor , where Joe Wade was our football coach, and our sportsmaster at my school, Lady Owen's, was an ex Arsenal player, Reg Tricker.
Joe Wade played 86 games for Arsenal between 1946 and 1955, and Reg Tricker 12 between 1927 and 1929
