Memory about Kirk Deighton Rangers circa 1993
It was a Sunday morning early season I think the first game versus "Summerbridge" away.
We had been walloped 6-1.
For some reason we kicked off earlier, to get out of the cricketers way as they started midday (I think) our team had gone changed. When we arrived back one of the other Sunday sides were just about to get their photo taken, unbeknown to them I nipped in at the back right of the group ( with the hoody) and then quickly disappeared into the changing room straight after the camera clicked.
When the photo came out their Skipper Col Launder couldn`t quite work out how I was on their photograph??.
We still talk about it today

I remember Geoff getting on more than one photograph like this! In fact I think he ended up on a cup winning side's celebratory photographs way after his retirement. Colin Launder is the tall guy with the mexican moustache in the middle of the front row and that team is full of legends. Aaaah - this sporting life!

Every club needs a cheeky chappy. Great memory and I forgive you, Geoff still sneaks on the odd sporty pic but now its Golf or snooker, Sport is a great way to make the best friends you can have and the best memories. Great times.
