Dean Hoyle: three favourite matches

It's well documented that my best day as Chairman of Huddersfield Town came in May, but I still hold a lot of my memories from my days on the terraces. I've talked before about being part of the Town crowd in the away end at Brentford as Darren Bullock's penalty sealed a passage to the Play-Off Final in 1995 and Del Shannon's 'Runaway' will always instantly reminds me of that night - if you were there, you will understand!

I was also part of the crowd in the unforgettable 4-4 draw at Bury in 1991 as we pulled it back from 4-0 down, but for me the best part of football are the little things you remember that are unique to you. One of my prominent memories as a Town fan is a two-legged League Cup tie against Watford back in 1983/84; John Barnes was incredible for them, but we managed to make it through. The atmosphere was incredible that day and I'll never forget it. It's an obscure game, but it really means something to me.
