I remember taking my younger brother Steve Beck to his first York city match in the 1965 / 1966 season.
I remember the two late goals against Southampton in an FA Cup match. The snow in a match I think against Grimsby.and the long trips on the coaches, happy days.
I'm glad Steve stayed faithful to York as I have transferred my allegience to Walsall I always look for York's result.
For Steve, York City meant everything.
