In 1996 Clive Mendonca scored a hat-trick against Ipswich Town. I remember this day because my Mum was voted supporter of the year in the TARGET newspaper.
My Mum went on the pitch to get her award- a year later she died aged 77.
She had supported Town since 1933 and was at Old Trafford for the FA Cup Semi Final versus Wolves.
