My first NUFC match
February 9, 1985: We played Man United. I was 9 years old and went with my dad and brother. We stood in the old West Stand (now the Milburn Stand) family enclosure. There was snow all over the pitch so they played with an orange ball. We were losing 0-1 at half time, then with 10 minutes to go, Peter Beardsley hit a fabulous equaliser. I’d never heard a noise like it and will never forget it.
