When Hull City were promoted to the Premier League on the last day of the season. City drew with the champions Cardiff City 2-2 and had to then hope Leeds United would beat Watford, the match was delayed by 15 minutes so everybody stayed behind hoping the rivals would do us a massive favour. I waited nervously with my Gran and then word came through that City were up and the KC Stadium erupted as both sets of supporters celebrated promotion!
