I was fourteen years old when England hosted the World Cup. No new stadiums were built for it, Old Trafford was used as of course was Wembley. I remember watching the final between England and Germany with Geoff Hurst getting the winning goal. He was my hero, I had a poster of him stuck on my bedroom wall.
