I was only talking with Chris from Sporting Memories yesterday about the 1979 FA Cup Final between Utd and Arsenal.
A friend and I had tickets right in front of Royal Box. 5 minutes to go 0-2 Utd not looking like scoring. One more attack offside lets go. Running up Wembley Way a big roar, ask hot dog seller what happened Utd scored. Only consolation keep going. Another roar whats that? 2-2!.
Must go back!
Running up the steps another roar 3-2 Arsenal, final whistle people coming out us going in.
Missed 3 goals, lost game and got stuck in traffic! Moral - Dont go early!
