Peter Aitken: 1980-1982, career memories

My abiding memory of playing for City was the camaraderie amongst the players and a great team spirit through some difficult times.

One of my best memories of playing at Ashton Gate was my first home game in a Bristol City shirt and scoring against Bolton Wanderers. I didn't score many goals but this was a right footer from outside the box into the far corner at the Wedlock Stand End. I think we won the game 3-1.

Peter made 41 appearances for City between 1980 and 1982
