My dad's memories of the League Cup Semi-Final 2nd leg, Bristol City vs Nottingham Forest 1988/1989
I remember a full Ashton Gate for the game against First Division Nottingham Forest the atmosphere was amazing. I went with my dad and I was really excited. After a 1-1 draw up in Nottingham the game was perfectly poised. We nearly won it in normal time but it hit the post. Forest then scored in injury time to stop us going to Wembley.
