Norman Jay MBE: 1968 and 1970, my first home and away matches

I've been a lifelong supporter of my beloved Tottenham Hotspur FC since they beat Chelsea 2-1 in the first all London FA Cup Final at the old Wembley Empire Stadium (as it was back then) in 1967

My two most abiding football memories was attending my ever first home game at White Hart Lane on my own as a 'pie eyed' and star struck 11 year old. And and even more significantly, attending my first ever AWAY match (also on my own) in the old 1st Division as if was then.
The details of which are printed below. I also still have my original match programes from both these games after all these years.

First ever HOME game
@ White Hart Lane N17
SPURS v NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Old League Division One
Sat 21st Sept 1968
Season 1968/69
Result: 2-1 win

First ever AWAY game:
WBA v TOTTENHAM
Ground: The Hawthorns
Old League Division One
Sat 12th December 1970
Season 1970/71
Result: 3-1 defeat
