Cardiff City, at Ninian Park, 1984/5.
Standing behind the goal that Cardiff were attacking in the first half.
After Cardiff's second goal without reply, keeper Nigel Batch, on his haunches, responded to heckling from some Town fans by taking his gloves off, holding them out, and saying something to the effect of- here you are then if you think you can do any better!
Despite there being many optimistic takers, the great Nigel fortunately continued, and Town through Gary Lund and Paul Wilkinson squared the game before half time.
With Town now attacking towards their supporters, Paul Emson bravely headed a cross into the net at the far post but in doing so he also collided with the woodwork. 'Emmo' was stretchered off to rapturous applause from the Town faithful which, if he could have heard it, might have softened the blow.
Town's substitute (only one in those days) was none other than Kevin Drinkell, highlighting the embarrassment of attacking options that the Mariners possessed at the time. He duly proceeded to wrap the game up with a fourth goal, and a truly memorable game came to an end.
I can only hope that someone got Paul Emson a copy of the match video.
