16th January 1971: I went on the supporters bus from Blantyre with my dad to watch Celtic play Dundee at Dens Park. We won 8-1. On the way back home, as we stopped for fish n' chips, somebody spoke to me and realised that it was my 8th birthday that day. Big whip round on the bus, into a 'bunnet', and I had a very nice birthday present from those funds!
"Come back next year and we'll win 9-1" as we left the bus to go tell my mum!
Now a Wycombe supporter of many years, with MY son. Maybe Wycombe will win the Champions League one day. Well, he can dream! :)
