Ruel Fox: the changes from my time at Norwich

Best Memories

There's too many to name, I mean, when you look back at it obviously I’m now retired but it was a bit of a blur, you get flashback and being here was probably one of the changing times of my career. I came here from a small club in Norwich, everything was going well, I came here and everything changed once I came here. It changed me into a more complete player so I’ve always had fond memories here. I always come back here and I always try and help out when there are chances to come back.

Memories before he joined

I knew the club as a sleeping giant, I knew it as a big club, I knew about Newcastle and also about Sunderland. When I was playing at Norwich we rarely got games because we were in different leagues at the time so I remember playing against Sunderland in the semi-final, playing in a few league games down here and it was always very hostile, very cold place as everyone knows but, like, look at it now and its probably one of the best stadiums in Europe so it shows how far its came and I’m glad I’ve been a part of the development of Newcastle
