Chris Harvey: 1972, my first match

My first Leeds game saw United lose 2-1 to eventual champions Liverpool back in 1972. I vividly recall the crush on Lowfields as I tried to balance on my stool so I could see over the crowd. The match stands out for two things: Mick Jones' fantastic overhead kick for Leeds' goal (it's part of the pre-match montage played at Elland Road now) and Eddie Gray doing keepy-uppies after coming on as substitute.

I had Jones' sock tabs - but after that it was Gray who became my Leeds United hero
