Town drew 1-1 with Manchester City in 1997 and 2000, both of which were played in what was then called the First Division. At the end of the 1996/1997 season Town were relegated, and in the 1999/2000 season finished 20th (as City went up in second place).

The Alzheimer's Society recently launched a national initiative called Dementia Friends which is giving people an understanding of dementia and the small things people can do that make a difference to people living with dementia.
