Keith Parsons: 1965, my first night match

In the mid 1960's my Dad let me stay up, streets were packed for the first night game. Sat on the wooden barriers half way up the Pontoon. League Cup Town v Bolton. 4-2 to the Mariners. Rod Green leading the line and Matt Tees sniffing round the edges to score two goals a piece. Town went on to beat Preston 4-1 and drew West Ham but my Dad wouldn't let me stay up again, I think he wanted a pint with his mates!
