One of my favourite memories goes back to the League Cup Final of 1980!
We'd managed to get tickets in the Forest end for the game and had a great view of 40,000 Wolves fans at the other end of Wembley. Before the game the then Midlands football reporter Gary Newbon had pretty much rubbished Wolves chances against the then mighty Forest under Brian Clough.
After our 1-0 win can remember smiling at hearing Wolves fans giving a hearty rendition of "Gary Newbon, you're a w@@ker you're a w@@ker"
Also remember Cloughie clapping the Wolves fans on his way off the pitch after the game! Top man! Great manager! Great days :-)
