April 2005, late Duncan Ferguson header under the floodlights against Man Utd, limbs flying everywhere and strangers hugging and jumping for joy. Celebratory drink after cut short as job interview in the morning.
Next morning, walking to interview at Albert Dock and find Duncan outside the building talking to a taxi driver about the night before. Before I even walked in, I knew I had it just because of that! Worked there ever since.
