Somehow we got tickets to the FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley in April 1991. We were up high and there was something of a restricted view. So I'd like to say that I saw Gascoigne's free-kick clearly but in truth all I can remember is a moment when Seaman went to save it followed by a huge noise and being pushed about two rows further forward.
We were soon two up and then I had a very good view when Arsenal scored before half time. The second half was nerve-jangling, life-ageing stuff but when Lineker scored the third goal we could breath a little.
The celebrations were immense. We walked most of the way home to Stoke Newington. Kept it quiet once we got there. Though not that quiet.
