Mick Channon: 1976 F.A Cup Final

I'll always hold the memory of Bobby Stokes scoring the winner in the 1976 FA Cup Final as a very special moment. He was a lad that everybody loved. Players, fans - EVERYONE. He made all of our dreams come true and he never changed. We all loved Bobby and I love him still although he left us all a while back. I can still see him smiling. Bless him.

Mick made 602 appearances for Southampton and is their all time leading goalscorer with 228 goals. Mick is a full England international with 21 goals in 46 appearances, since retiring from football he has become a very succesful racehorse trainer.
