Ipswich Town defeated Barnsley 4-2 to win a place in the Premiership on 29th May 2000.
Jim Magilton signed for Ipswich Town in 1999 and his only career hat-trick against Bolton in the play-off semi final secured a trip to Wembley. Jim made 262 appearances for Ipswich and went on to manage the club. He also made 52 appearances for Northern Ireland.
