Mary Dornan: 1980s, my first Celtic game, hearing The Jungle sing

My first Celtic game - my brother Andy took me to watch Celtic v Greenock Morton (about 1984/5 I think).

We walked from Glasgow Central which seemed like forever to get there and I whinged all the way. Derek Whyte scored the first goal and I was delighted because I had posters of him on my bedroom wall!

I remember Andy taking me to The Jungle for the start of the second half. We stood pitchside and the fans began singing 'Walk on'. Andy lifted me up to face the crowd and I'll never forget seeing a sea of scarfs rise up as far as I could see. I still get hairs on the back of my neck thinking of it.

You'll never walk alone Andy xxx
